In Tuesday's Commons debate of the 'incitement to religious hatred' law, Home Secretary David Blunkett made an assertion that left some observers perplexed: in response to a question from Labour MP Gordon Prentice whether those who incited hatred against self-described adherents of the 'Jedi Knight' religion would be prosecuted, Blunkett stated that such acts were already covered by present legislation, but new legislation was required to...well...deal with incitement of other religions

Right. Fucking well bring it on. Jedi knights are evil. Jedi Knights were always evil, from the time they killed Jesus to the present day. Jedi Knights want nothing more than to seduce your twelve year old daughter. Jedi Knights smell of wee. Anyone who says different is a scoundrel, traitor and apologist for the Jediknightofascists. Hunt them down and beat them like rabid dogs. Let’s round up all the Jedi Knights and throw them into a pit of burning sulphur. Then let’s hang the remains from lampposts and cavort around them singing gleefully. Erase the pollution of Jedi Knighthood.
