Chris Lightfoot, RIP
Jesus, this is awful news:
Chris Lightfoot died unexpectedly on 11th February 2007. He is sadly missed by family, friends and colleagues. The funeral was held at St. Benet's Church, Cambridge, on 23rd February 2007. Donations, if wished, should be sent to www.no2id.net.
Via. Appreciated here and here. I never knew the man and never know what to say in these circumstances, anyway. Given the number of citizen participation projects he was involved with, Joe Hill’s last words might be apposite.

Oh bollocks. Chris L has been one of the shining lights of my online world ever since I stumbled onto shw-i a long time ago. We're really on our own now.
