Everyone’s scouring that list for celebrities who seem like they should be there. Simon points to Noel Edmonds. I was thinking maybe Paul McKenna, or maybe someone off children’s TV, seething with resentment while manipulating finger puppets for the very young: I’d be presenting Newsnight now if it wasn’t for the queers and the pakis and the tide of liberal filth and the plots, the endless, endless plots…
Sports presenters. Maybe someone off Antiques Greedshow. A motoring correspondent. A consumer TV presenter’s sidekick. A pitchman for QVC. Yes, I thought: those are the people. Minor media folk often seem to have very eccentric cosmologies and plans to Put It All Right. But apparently not in that way.
I hear that some of the outed BNP members are looking for somewhere to go while it all blows over. How about here?

LIve like Anne Frank, lovely Amsterdam attic apartment.
Holy crap! That was freaky. Get the full Anne Frank experience? Holocaust tourism? Sick but, yes, how appropriate for them.

I remember thinking on my last visit to Amsterdam "poor love, she didn't stand a chance, there's signs up all over town".

Christ yes, how I hated that show. You'd have some old dear terribly, terribly pleased, after queuing up for three hours, to learn her old teapot is worth forty quid so she can buy some presents for the grandchldren - then you'd have some supercilious arsehole being told their inherited set of Georgian drawers was worth thirty grand and you could just see in their faces them thinking "what does this guy know, it's worth thirty-five at least".
Television. Turns you into a misanthrope faster and more reliably than anything else I know.

You owe me a new keyboard, Daniel.
As for misanthropy: TalkSport? Kensington? Kettle? Dacre?
