Joe the plumber goes to Gaza. Absolutely fucking priceless.
The elites in the world think they run everything, but if I learned one thing about global politics from my 17 years as an unlicensed plumber, it's that elites just mess everything up…
…So I boarded a jet to Israel to find out the real story of the war between Israel and Gaza. It was a long flight and they served chicken with something called rice pilaf. Very interesting stuff. I will have to see if we can get it back home.

Via. I think this was ghostwritten by Michael Totten.
Ah, so you know who Michael Totten is? Isn't he leading in one of the Weblog award categories? I just looked for him but can't find him and can't be arsed to go through the whole lot again. I just remember he was a tad to the right of (fill in the blank). Oh, yeah, Best Middle East And Africa Blog.
JEEZAS KERR-RIST!!!! I just read it.
You have to use your brain in situations likes that. You have to shoot the baby because it can't take care of itself without a wife, but with a wife you can make a new baby.
OK, J, you owe me a vote for making me read that.

Yes, but Samuel Wurzelbacher really is going to Gaza as a reporter. It's not quite so funny now that the IDF are embedding journalists: before they weren't letting any in.
I know that some Israelis follow US politics keenly. (Rather more so than their US counterparts who can probably name leaders of Hamas and Hezbollah, but don't know the Israeli cabinet, and would doubtless be shocked at Israel's socialised healthcare, cheaper and more humane than in America, etc.) But a lot don't. And they have enough problems with skinheads - which you have to concede is what J'TP' looks like. I think he might be surprised at the relative popularities of Obama and Bush over there too.
