Well, that didn't take long. Bo ally and 8th richest man in China arrested. Political and economic interests are so chained together at the top that whenever one guy goes down, he drags a chain of others down with him.
Sometimes I wonder whether the purging of the elite is a semi-deliberate policy. Look at it this way; when your Chinese farmer or factory worker looks at a multi-millionaire, he knows there's a, say, 10 percent chance the guy will be arrested and charged within the next few years. The ritualistic falls reassure people; at least some of the bastards face a kind of justice.
On the Bo Guagua scholarship angle, I'd be amazed if those "full scholarships" didn't come through China-based foundations backed with Bo's ally's business money.
