Listed below are links to weblogs that reference arty paintings on the walls:
Buddy Hash, now there's a name. I used to read Anderson's column religiously when I was growing up.
OT: Fucking hell.

A lot of people have spoken to Hash, but hash doesn't normally speak to them.

Buddy Hash sounds quite seedy.

Bert, what I get on that link is a mugshot of James Agnew aged 62 arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and/or a first drugs offence. Where's the hash on Buddy?

Forgive me. If you mistakenly make hash that's buddy, it'll likely be seedy too ...
... Like I say, forgive me.
The photo I thought was interesting, it can't have been an easy life. Here he is getting done on another weird charge, a couple of years after Anderson's piece.
Those arrests.org photos are kind of fascinating. In their own right of course, but also as a bit of private enterprise. There's a lucrative little web ecosystem, parasitic on the state, in which companies use Freedom of Information to put up arrest photos, other companies offer a service that gets your arrest photo removed from the sites, and very often these companies are owned by the same people.
