It doesn't really lead anywhere, but I think we'd be remiss in our duty if we didn't bring you news of this:
Sina Weibo, China’s Twitter, is currently abuzz with sordid photos appearing to show township-level officials from Lujiang, in Anhui province, posing naked and engaging in group sex.
This is a meritocracy, right? Who else are the hardworking cadres of Anhui supposed to fornicate bestially with in their hard earned downtime if not each other? They work hard and they play hard, and all to serve the people better. I am Eric Li and this was a TED talk. I thankyew.
Sadly, it seems that the cadres are blameless and/or more boring than that. The pix were either photoshopped or staged with people who look a bit like them, maybe as part of some weird blackmail attempt.
UPDATE: Global Times is on the case: Naked Guy is not our Party chief.
Not enough technobabble for a TED talk. How about quoting some study that shows that sex is relaxing, and who else is of the right social level except your fellow officials because of bonobos.
