It's Blood & Treasure's second anniversary today, a date in history also marked by the People's Temple mass suicide in Guyana, the King's Cross tube fire and the marriage of Michael Douglas to Catherine Zeta Jones. Hurrah!
Anyway, here's a greatest hit from my old site, which wasn't much visited and deserves another airing.
Tim Worstall's Blogged 2005 compilation is also out today (yes, before you ask). So if you like cutting edge media in a wonky table balancing format, then go out and buy it immediately.
Happy Birthday, B&T.
On the Worstall book, I did like the list of things other people had bought:
# Blog!: How the Newest Media Revolution Is Changing Politics, Business, and Culture; Hardcover ~ David Kline, et al
# The Big Book of Masturbation: From Angst to Zeal; Paperback ~ Martha Cornog
# Anti-Totalitarianism: The Left-wing Case for a Neoconservative Foreign Policy; Hardcover ~ Oliver Kamm
# Million Dollar Baby [2004]; VHS Tape ~ Hilary Swank;
# Property Rights: Cooperation, Conflict and Law; Paperback ~ Terry L. Anderson (Editor), Fred S. McChesney (Editor)

Yes, that was odd wasn't it? Now as far as I understand it means that people actually did buy "the Left wing case for neoconservatism" and "the Big Book of masturbation" as one package. Either that, or amazon's algorithms do satire.

Happy birthday etc. Two years, eh? That pretty much makes you geriatric in blogworld...
As for the Worstall thing - anyone actually got a copy of the book yet, then?

I'm in it, so I'm due a freebie. Hasn't arrived yet though.

Congratulations on the twoyeariversary. I shall investigate Oxford St tonight as to whether sales have begun to the greater glory of Tim's bank account.

I was going to ask Mrs Wildebeest to get me a copy for Xmas, but then I would have had to reveal to her what I've been doing with the computer for the last six months. Porn would have been much more acceptable...
