All credit to the Germans for inventing gunpowder - but they also invented the printing press.

said by Nietzsche somewhere or other in his oeuvre (Beyond Good and Evil I think)

Nietzsche didn't like newspapers much (Zarathustra refers to the buzzing of the flies in the marketplace).


I quite like the idea of a gaggle of rightwing hacks responding to a boss sitting there in his office weeping over an empty vodka bottle while fondling a Makarov and shouting “God is dead!” over and over again.
