You obviously didn't get the memo about how soldiers are now humanitarian relief workers with guns.

I don't think positioning my forces so that they encircle another nation's cities counts as withdrawal.

We should feel proud of ourselves, I think. At the cost of several trillion dollars, several hundred thousand lives, etc. etc. we have created our very own Nigeria on the Tigris.


On the contrary, I think "combat-related activities" is more specific - "in the line of duty" just means the guy was wearing a uniform and receiving orders when he got hit.
