MORE than 4,000 screaming fans greeted Peter Andre when the pop star turned up to sign albums at a supermarket near Bolton.
One girl, who has been in hospital for the past 10 weeks with pneumonia, queued for six hours at Asda in Horwich to see her idol.
Ali Louise, 18, from Tyldesley, said she had missed meeting Katie Price at a signing because she was in hospital and was determined not to miss Peter.
Ali said: "I've been waiting since midday and it is killing me but it is worth it. I need to tell him I am on his team."
She also wanted to show Peter the 'Princess' tattoo she has on her back - a tribute to Peter's daughter, Princess Tiaamii.
Andre had planned to sign copies of his new album 'Revelation' at HMV in the Arndale Centre, Manchester. But the venue was switched at the last minute because of public safety fears over the huge number of fans expected.
In Horwich, six-year-old Armani James complained that she had queue with her mother who wanted to meet Peter. "Mummy loves Peter but I want to go home," she said.
Good luck to you Armani, because you’re going to need it.
