Surely there must be some actual lesbians pretending to be Scotsmen?
Charlie: I can remember the first million blogs, with 50,000 maintaining an average of one post a day. I was in the first fifty thousand. Now look at our beautiful revolution...ugh.
Hmm, does anyone else think the names in that piece sound dodgy? Surely "Linda LaVictoire" is a pseud, and "Melanie Nathan" is a two-first-name - always dodgy. Come to think of it one of them is a bloke.
If so, some of them are using more than one layer of pseudonymity:
Linda LaVictoire, a contributor at LezGetReal.com who writes as Linda Carbonelli, told the Washington Post: "I was completely taken in. I have been completely taken in for three years."
It just occurred to me that there's a sex toy factory somewhere in Zhejiang with the boss shouting down the phone: "get me the specifications for these sock puppet things! I've got the injection moulding machines ready to go!"

One count has the number of blogs at 163m+, up by 61,000 since yesterday.
Surely they can't all be by blokes pretending to be lesbians?

Some quick researching on Google Images last night reassured me as to the existence of lesbians.

Do they call you Dickoff, or were you born that way?

I think the number of active blogs is considerably less.
Alex, I think they're supposed to be pseudonymous.

And now MacMaster has published a second more extensive apology and taken down all comments to previos posts of which there where hundreds.
Linda LaVictoire is so totally a dude.
And I'm not a committee of blind Zambian lesbians, honest.

Pretending to be somebody you're not on the internet is so 90s.
Having a slightly unusual name myself, I couldn't possibly comment on other people's pseudonyms.

If you're married to someone who forms about 15% of the hits on Google's first page if you search for her forename...

On the Internet, nobody knows you're a dog but everyone believes you're a lesbian, except for the ones who suspect you're a committee.
